Carmenère
Carmenère is a relatively obscure, low-yielding, temperamental vine that is reputed to produce wines of excellent color, rich, full flavor that are reputed to compare to Cabernet Sauvignon. Fewer than 100 Hectares exist and usually the variety is found as a row or two in a vineyard.
