The Estate

Spring Mountain Vineyard

Spring Mountain Vineyard is an 850 acre estate of forest and vineyard on the eastern slopes of Spring Mountain which rises next to the town of Saint Helena in Napa Valley. The vineyard occupies about 226 acres of the estate which starts at approximately 250 feet above sea level topping out at over 1,600 feet above sea level. It is broken into 135 unique and separate hillside vineyard blocks. All of these blocks are different from the other in the height, slope, soil, sun exposure, and microclimate they possess. This gives our winemaker a wealth of choices as each block produces a different taste and profile.

The property primarily focuses on growing and producing traditional Bordeaux styled wines, We are currently offering Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend we call Elivette, Sauvignon Blanc and, occasionally, some wine club exclusives grown on our property. The varietals we have planted on the estate include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Semillon.

The goal of the vineyard is to produce exceptional wines that show the power and depth of the mountain fruit, yet through gentle winemaking, possess elegance as well as strength. Our wines can be enjoyed in their youth but are also very adept at aging over the decades producing extremely layered and unique wines.
